History It is mentioned that Hattušili I went to Zaruna and defeated the city before the campaign of Haššuwa. “I went to the land of Zaruna the following year and destroyed the city of Zaruna. I went to the city of Haššuwa” (KBo 10.2 Obv. II 11, 23).

One must look for the city of Zaruna in the vicinity of the area proposed for Haššuwa at the southeast of Anatolia, since Hattušili I had made a campaign to Haššuwa shortly after Zaruna.
