Survey Findings The pottery collection of Amuq Valley Regional Project has some Middle and Late Bronze diagnostics. Mineral tempered cookware, Syro-Cilician Painted sherds, Flanged rim with grooves at the top and also sherds with applied rope decoration are indicators of MB I and MB II. There is also a cookware sherd with shell temper, which suggests a possible LB I or II occupation at this settlement. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, noted only MBA for this site (1937).
