Survey Findings Fair amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. Syro-Cilician Ware handle and body fragments, simple ware hook rim bowl, flanged rim with grooves at the top and Grey Burnished Ware are indicators of MBA, although the latter could be LB I as well. conical shallow bowl and shell tempered cookware, on the other hand, are diagnostics for LBA. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, did not note any 2nd Millennium BC period for this site (1937).
