Location and geographical Features



Low rounded mound; totally under cotton, but sparse growth allowed a reasonable sample of pottery to be collected; 2 gullies resulting from erosion by irrigation water provided an increased sample of pottery; these gullies exposed CaCO3 concretions in occupation deposit on top of mound and grey brown at base of slope; remainder of tell comprised greyish ashy soil in gullies
