Survey Findings Very small amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. Mineral tempered cookware, carinated shallow bowl, kraters with everted and flanged rim grooved at the top and body sherd with comb incised decoration would indicate both earlier and later part of Middle Bronze Age, whereas jar with double is certainly a hallmark for MB II. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, did not note any 2nd Millennium BC period for this site (1937).
