Location and geographical Features



Immediately west of the Gemici-Köfte road. It is now flooded by the Karakaya Dam Lake.



Nearest Ancient Road

Survey Findings Most sherds collected appear to belong to plain simple, coarse and painted wares (ware types 3.1, 3.8 and 3.9) of the beginning of the Middle Bronze Age. Few sherds of Iron Age grooved and coarse wares (ware types 4.1 and 4.7) have been collected as well (Özdoğan 1977: 80).
