Survey Findings Fair amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. The shallow bowl with hook rim, pithos with flanged rim grooved at the top, globular jar with double rim and possible Syro-Cilician Ware sherds are diagnostics for MB I and II; shell tempered cookware, conical shaped shallow bowl, plate and Cyriot White Slip ware sherd are hallmarks of LBA in the region. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, also noted LBA and possible MBA for this site (1937).
