Description

It is now flooded by the Karakaya Dam Lake. Köse Höyük lies immediately north of the Imamoğlü road east of the Köse village.

Survey Findings Several sherds of Middle-Late Bronze Age fine, central Anatolian Hittite, plain simple and pianted wares (ware types 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 3.9, 3.10) and a few doubful sherds of Iron Age wares have been collected (Özdoğan 1977: 43).
