Survey Findings Fair amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. Syro-Cilician Ware sherd, krater and pithos with flanged rim grooved at the top and Gray Burnished Ware base are hallmarks for MBA, the latter continues into LB I as well. The shell tempered cookware, conical shallow bowl and slipped and burnished rounded bowl are typical of LBA. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, only noted possible MBA for this site (1937).
