Survey Findings Many sherds of Middle-Late Bronze Age fine, central Anatolian Hittite, plain simple, coarse and painted wares (ware types 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 3.8 and 3.10) have been collected from the field and the mound. Many sherds of Iron Age grooved, plain simple, coarse and red slipped wares (ware types 4.1, 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8) have been found on the field (Özdoğan 1977: 65).
