Survey Findings Large amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. Mineral tempered cookware, pithos and krater fragments with flanged rim grooved at the top, globular jar with triangular rim, various Syro-Cilician Ware pottery fragments are hallmarks of both earlier and later parts of MBA. Allthough not as strong as MBA, shell tempered cookware, shallow bowl with hammer rim and conical shallow bowl suggest LBA occupation at this site as well. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, only noted LBA for this site (1937).
