Survey Findings Fair amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. LBA types are more dominant; there are only 2 possible MBA sherds. LBA diagnostics are conical shallow bowl, plain, burnished and red band painted flat plates, and shell tempered cookware. Sherd with comb incised decoration and possible Syro-Cilician Ware sherd suggest a MBA occupation at this site. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, also noted both MBA and LBA for this site (1937).
