Survey Findings Fair amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. MBA types are more dominant. Typical vessel types are carinated shallow bowl, possible Syro-Cilician Ware sherds, pithos fragment with applied rope decoration, hemispherical pithos with flanged rim grooved at the top, globular pithos, hook rimmed bowl and double rim jar. Other than these, shell tempered cookware and red slipped plate are indicators for LBA occupation at this site. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, also noted either MBA or LBA for this site (1937).
