Survey Findings Very small amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. Shell tempered cookware and conical shaped bowl are hallmarks for LBA whereas a possible Syro-Cilician Ware sherd would suggest a MBA occupation at this site. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, did not note any 2nd Millennium BC period for this site (1937).
