Survey Findings Fair amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. Flanged rim pithos with grooves at the top, applied rope decoration, Globular jar, hole mouth krater with grooved flanged rim, Syro-Cilician Ware sherds, mineral tempered cookware, comb incised decoration and carinated shallow bowl are all diagnostics of MBA I and II; Jar with double rim is of MBA II. LBA diagnostics: Red Lustrous Ware (LB I and II), Mycenaean IIIA (LB II) and shell tempered cookware (LB I and II). Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, noted only MBA for this site (1937).
