Survey Findings The groups of pottery that have been defined on the mound are orange reddish slipped and grizzle slipped wares and EBA plant tempered and chaff faced pottery. In these, open vessels with inverted/internally thickened rim may be local variations of pottery from Hittite Imperial Period. There are also some fragments of pottery dating to Roman Imperial and Late Roman Periods and examples of glazed ware.
