Location and geographical Features

Description

The settlement is on a 30 meter high natural limestone rock. The valley basin is actually a plain sloping from North to east. The hill stretches in North-south direction. The highest part of the rock tin the North is occupied by a Iron Age tumulus 80-90 m in diameter. Settlement traces are marked on the hilltop and the terrace sloping southwards. The slopes are partly eroded due to erosion, while North and South slopes were also suffered from limestone mining.
