Survey Findings Very small amount of 2nd Millennium BC pottery assemblage from Amuq Valley Regional Project. The diagnostics continue within a large time span therefore no clear indications for specific periods within 2nd Millennium BC. Pithos with applied rope decoration and body with comb incised decoration are indicators of MBA, although the latter could be LB I as well. Flat plate fragment is indicator of LBA but it might be Iron Age as well. Braidwood, the director of the previous survey project in the same region, did not note any 2nd Millennium BC period for this site (1937).
