Location and geographical Features

Description

The mound emerged in 2011, after the draw-off at Kılıçkaya Dam. The medium-sized mound eroded away underwater with a thick sand layer. It commands the Suşehri plain. Kayadelen village (former Sıradur) had been founded on the mound but was moved 1.5 km North, towards the slopes of the northern plateau in 1988.
